We learn that a frigate and cutter, belonging to the enemy,
were drove on shore at Long-Island, in the late storm, and
entirely lost.
On hearing the late infamous tender law was repealed.
  All hail Astrea!  from the realms above;
  Hail favourite offspring of imperial Jove!
  What's life without thee but a world of woe ?
